  1. Sailing in the UK always used to start around Easter.   Torr Marine have recently undertaken a delivery to Portishead via Lands End in February and from Dover to Plymouth in March, both in mild, pleasant weather – for the time of the year.  Clearly, climate change does have some positive aspects.

It should be getting towards the end of the season in the UK but Torr Marine is still as busy as ever.  We recently  delivered ‘Bling’, a 1D35 racing yacht,  from Plymouth to Southampton for Wessex Yacht Sales – very fast sailing and absolutely no concessions to crew comfort – but, hey ho, that’s delivery work.   In the current economic climate we are very pleased to have taken firm bookings for deliveries to the Med’ in 2012.<-->
