..................the delivery was completed safely, on time and on budget with what was a memorable passage. I would have no hesitation in using Torr Marine again or to recommend them to anyone else. Oh, and the home cooked food was delicious and a real bonus.
It should be getting towards the end of the season in the UK but Torr Marine is still as busy as ever. We recently delivered ‘Bling’, a 1D35 racing yacht, from Plymouth to Southampton for Wessex Yacht Sales – very fast sailing and absolutely no concessions to crew comfort – but, hey ho, that’s delivery work. In the current economic climate we are very pleased to have taken firm bookings for deliveries to the Med’ in 2012.
Back to Alicante again, this time with Tigger II, a Southerly 35. Blessed with fair winds throughout, the 1350 mile passage was completed in slightly over 11 days.
